 To
promote academics, the foundation administers the Harold LeMay Opportunities
Fund. This is a grant program that supports learning opportunities
in the Bethel School District.
The foundation will make its first grants in August 2004. It
seeks to fund innovative projects that will impact a significant
number of students. Qualifying projects will actively involve students
and strengthen the bond between school and community. All projects
and materials must meet district curriculum standards and be approved
by the school board.
